Mark R. Parthemer, Webinar Program Chair and Moderator
Managing Director and Fiduciary Counsel, Bessemer Trust
Mr. Parthemer joined Bessemer Trust, an exclusive wealth management firm, after careers in public accounting and private law. He heads Bessemer Trust’s fiduciary and estate planning services for the Southeast US. He is a member of the Florida Bankers Association Trust Executive Council and co-chair of the Trust Legislative Committee. He is in leadership with the American Bar Association, a nationally known speaker and author, and has been faculty at Widener Law School, Heckerling and other Tax Institutes. Mr. Parthemer received his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law, Penn State University, and his B.A. and B.S. degrees from Franklin and Marshall College.
 
John P. Cole, Shareholder, Ivan, Cole, Bonnette & Kane
John Cole is a shareholder of the firm and an AV Preeminent rated lawyer. He earned his J.D. degree from Emory Law School in 1991, and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984. Mr. Cole is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for Florida and the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association. He is a member of the Probate Litigation, Trust Law, and Probate Law & Procedure Committees of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar,
and the Trust & Probate Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.

Kevin A. Kane, Shareholder, Ivan, Cole, Bonnette & Kane
Kevin Kane is a shareholder of the firm and an AV Preeminent rated lawyer. He earned his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School in 2000, and an LL.M. in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001. He graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in political science, in 1997. Mr. Kane is a member of The Florida Bar and the U.S. Tax Court, and he was selected for inclusion in 2010 Florida Rising Stars®.
 
Melvin A. Warshaw, General Counsel, Financial Architects Partners
Mr. Warshaw’s primary responsibility is to deepen the company’s relationship with advisors including trusts and estates lawyers, CPAs, family offices, corporate trustees and trust companies involved in complex life insurance programs undertaken for super affluent individuals and families. He is currently the chair of the ABA, Real Property Trusts & Estates Section (RPTE) Task Force on Policy Valuation. He is a member of the ABA (RPTE Section), the Boston Bar Association
and the Boston Estate Planning Council. Mel received his LLM. in Taxation, from Georgetown University Law Center; his J.D., from St. Louis University School of Law; and his B.A. with Honors, at the University of Rochester.
