More than 90 million American households carry credit cards, with an average debt load of more than $10,500. The Credit CARD Act of 2009 represents some of the most sweeping changes to the credit card industry in more than 40 years, with some of its provisions taking effect as early as August 20, 2009. This seminar will provide you with early guidance on this important new legislation.

Carri Lybarker is a Staff Attorney with the South Carolina Department of Consumer affairs, and she is intricately involved in the enforcement of consumer credit regulations. In this brief seminar, she will bring you up to speed on the extensive changes imposed by the new act, and how these changes will affect you and your clients. Take advantage of this opportunity to get the first word on the Credit CARD Act of 2009.
